Accessibility Statement
Last updated: May 27, 2026
ClutchDay (operated by Kelsey Poulter LLC) is committed to making our app and website usable for everyone, including people with disabilities. We design and build ClutchDay with accessibility in mind and we're continually working to improve.
Conformance target
We aim for substantial conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We test against modern screen readers (VoiceOver on iOS and macOS, and NVDA on Windows) and keyboard-only navigation, and we use semantic HTML, accessible form labels, sufficient color contrast, and visible focus indicators throughout the app.
ClutchDay is a young product and we have not yet completed a third-party WCAG audit. Some areas — most likely complex data widgets (the meal-plan grid, the schedule timeline) and rich interactive surfaces — may not yet fully conform. We track and prioritize accessibility issues alongside other product work.
What we do
- Use semantic HTML elements so screen readers can understand structure
- Provide text alternatives for meaningful images
- Ensure all interactive controls are reachable and operable by keyboard
- Maintain a 4.5:1 minimum contrast ratio for body text
- Avoid using color alone to convey meaning
- Support browser zoom up to 200% without loss of functionality
- Respect the operating-system reduced-motion preference
Known limitations
We know about the following accessibility gaps and are working on them:
- Some complex interactive widgets (e.g. the meal-plan calendar grid) may not announce state changes as clearly as we'd like to screen readers
- User-uploaded recipe images may not have descriptive alt text until we add an upload-time prompt
- Some legacy onboarding flows still need full keyboard-only review
Report a problem
If you run into an accessibility barrier in ClutchDay, or you have a suggestion for how to make the app easier to use, please contact us. We treat accessibility reports as priority issues and we'll get back to you within two business days.
Email support@clutchday.com with:
- The page or screen where you ran into the problem
- The assistive technology you were using (e.g. VoiceOver, NVDA, keyboard only)
- What you were trying to do and what went wrong
If you need a response in an alternative format, let us know in your email and we'll accommodate.
