Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 27, 2026
This policy explains what ClutchDay (operated by Kelsey Poulter LLC) collects, how we use it, and how we protect it. It applies to the ClutchDay app and clutchday.com.
Information we collect
Account information: the email you sign up with, and (if you choose to provide them) name, phone number, and household details.
Athlete profile data: name, date of birth, sex, weight and other biometrics, sport, season, training load, goal, and the events / practices you add to your schedule. This is what powers your personalized meal plan.
App usage: meal plan interactions, recipes favorited, weekly check-ins, support tickets, and similar activity inside the app.
Billing information: processed by Stripe. We do not store your full payment-card details on our servers; Stripe stores them and we keep a token plus the subscription state.
Device & technical information: IP address, browser/OS, device model, and similar metadata captured automatically when you use the app.
How we use it
To operate the Service: generate plans, run the program, send the emails and texts you sign up for, and support your account.
To improve the Service: understand how features are used so we can fix problems and prioritize work.
To bill, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data to train AI models outside the Service.
Service providers we share with
We use trusted vendors to run ClutchDay. They only receive the data they need to perform their job, and they're contractually obligated to keep it confidential:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage
- Vercel — application hosting
- Stripe — payment processing and customer-portal management
- Resend — transactional email (sign-in links, support notifications)
- GoHighLevel — marketing emails and customer-relationship management
- PostHog — product analytics (de-identified where possible)
- Sentry — error monitoring
We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights and safety of users.
Children's privacy
ClutchDay is intended to be used by athletes via a parent or legal guardian's account. Accounts must be created by someone at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without parental involvement. If you believe a child has provided us information without parental consent, email support@clutchday.com and we'll delete it.
Your rights
You can view, edit, or delete most of your data directly in the app. You can also email us to request a copy of your data, correct inaccuracies, or delete your account entirely. We'll respond within a reasonable timeframe (typically two weeks).
Residents of California, Colorado, Virginia, and other jurisdictions with similar privacy laws have additional rights — including the right to know, delete, and opt-out of certain processing. Email support@clutchday.com to exercise them.
Washington and Nevada residents: ClutchDay collects information that may qualify as "consumer health data" under your state laws. See our Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice for the additional disclosures and rights specific to that data.
Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we're required to retain certain records for billing, tax, or legal purposes.
Security
We use industry-standard practices to protect your data — encryption in transit, row-level access controls on the database, and limited access to production systems. No system is perfectly secure, so if you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact us right away.
International users
ClutchDay is operated from the United States, and your data is stored and processed there. If you use ClutchDay from outside the US, you consent to your data being transferred to and processed in the US.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Updates will be posted here with a new "last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated to the email on your account.
